‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ Character Reveals, Plot Rumors and SDCC Presence
Welcome back to Nerd Bastards and prepare yourself for the next batch of X-Men: Days of Future Past updates. This latest concerns the return of one hero from the original flick, the confirmation of a couple of actor’s roles, some potential plot teasers and what to expect from Bryan Singer and the gang come San Diego Comic Con time. Check it all out below .
First of all, it looks like Lucas Till, AKA Havok, has indeed returned for the new flick, despite previous hesitation expressed by the actor. In the following picture, brought to us via the Tweet-happy Bryan Singer, we see Till sitting around on set doing nothing, albeit he is minus his Havok suit.
Next up, it looks like the folks at Vulture got their hands on some plot details and decided to share them with us. If the rumors are true, two actors’ roles have been revealed. It seems that Peter Dinklage will, as speculated by many, be taking on the role of Bolivar Trask, the creator of the gigantic mutant-hunting robots known as the sentinels. Also, Josh Helman‘s role appears to be that of a young William Stryker.
Further, some of the story of X-Men: Days of Future Past has been brought forth. If true, Kitty Pryde will be taking a back-seat in this one and it will be Wolverine going into the past to warn the younger versions of mutantkind about the horrible future. Fans of the comic will know this is a huge departure from the original story (and one that I am already having issues with). Furthermore, during Wolverine’s journey something goes awry and the X-Men must find a way to get him back to his proper future before it’s too late.
And last on the list, X-Men: Days of Future Past‘s presence at San Diego Comic Con is reportedly going to bring more than a dozen of the movie’s actors along with them. They will also be confirming (or debunking) the above casting and plot details, and likely letting loose with a few more.
Until the next pile of rumors (or officially confirmed news) surfaces, continue to worship at the altar of Nerd Bastards and obey everything that we tell you to do.
Thanks to ComicBookMovie for the heads-up.
