Will Halo Reach have Natal?

Will Halo Reach have Natal?
Bungie Studios Boss, Harold Ryan said that:
“I absolutely think Reach could be enabled with it.”

That’s not exactly a yes and not exactly a no is it? If Halo: Reach is being shipped next year, it’s the kind of game that will so huge that Microsoft could not refrain from promoting Natal alongside the game.

One problem would be that not everyone would have Natal so the game would have to be able to be played both ways, old school with a controller and new school with only your magic hands and feet, or perhaps with some other kind of peripheral. Who knows?

Will Natal be any good for the Halo franchise? I dunno, I kinda like sitting on the couch, getting fatter eating chips, pwning Elites and Brutes with BR headshots.

I actually suspect Bungie is too far advanced in its development of Halo: Reach to have invested the necessary time for figuring out how best to fit the Natal technology into the Halo playing experience.

This thinking is some what confirmed by this statement from Bungie staffer, Alex Cutting which as far as I can tell came after the Harold Ryan comment:

Could Natal be a part of Halo? – “when it makes sense”.
“A lot of people are interested in what Natal’s presence in Halo’s going to be,” Cutting said. “We are committing to only doing it when it makes sense. We are not going to produce a gimmicky feature that just takes advantage of motion controls when it doesn’t feel right,” he told VideoGamer.

What about you, do you think the introduction of Natal to the Halo series would be to the game’s benefit?
